XtraBond HT High-Temp Silicone Sealant 10.1 oz - Red Product Description
XtraBond HT High-Temp Silicone Sealant 10.1 Fl Oz. tube
XtraBond®HT is a one part, easy to use, non-slumping paste that cures to a silicone rubber when exposed to atmospheric moisture at room temperature. This product is engineered to provide a durable, watertight bond when exposed to continuous temperatures ranging from -40° to 500°F on a continuous basis – while maintaining its integrity at up to 600°F for intermittent time periods. Its unique formulation acts as both a thermal and electrical insulator as well, so it is ideal for sealing around heating elements.
- Aggressive Adhesion to Common Construction Substrates
- Compatible with SBS Flashing
- Low VOCs

Surface Preparations
The substrate must be clean, dry, frost free, sound, and free of any oils, grease or incompatible sealers, paints or
coatings that may interfere with adhesion. Do not apply if surface is damp or contaminated. It is recommended all substrates are tested prior to application.
Directions
For best results, prepare clean surface. Cut nozzle to desired bead size. Apply with caulking gun, forcing sealant onto the substrate, then tool if needed. Clean excess material with mineral spirits or similar solvent.
Storage
Material is to be stored under controlled dry environment (below 75° F). Use within 18 months from date of manufacture. For best results, keep material in tightly closed containers when not in use. Do not freeze.
